7.02 Hello, Cruel World
Dr. Gaines works at Sioux Falls General Hospital, where Sheriff Jody Mills has just undergone an appendectomy. Annie is possessed by a leviathan and after seeing an ad for Dr. Sexy M.D., comes up with a plan to solve their feeding problem by consuming patients at a hospital. It kills the real Dr. Gaines and takes his form to gain access to the hospital, but its feeding is witnessed by Sheriff Mills, who escapes the hospital with Bobby's help. Edgar arrives with the two gym student Leviathans, which take on the forms of members of staff. Bobby investigates one of the bodies and is confronted by the Leviathan Dr. Gaines, who recognizes him from before, when it was inside Castiel. Bobby shoots it but it is unharmed.
7.03 The Girl Next Door
At Sioux Falls general Dr. Gaines and the leviathan Head Nurse are preparing a patient for surgery - or dessert as they call it. The leviathan impersonating Dr. Gaines receives a call alerting him to the Winchesters' arrival at the hospital, but he is too late to stop Bobby from driving away in a stolen ambulance with Dean and an unconscious Sam. Three weeks later, Bobby reports that the leviathans at the hospital - Dr. Gaines, the head nurse and an administrator - have disappeared.
7.09 How to Win Friends and Influence Monsters
Dr. Gaines has synthesized a food additive which he has put into the turducken. He is trailing its effect at a Biggerson's Restaurant in New Jersey. It is very addictive, and consumption leads to weight gain, and dampens people's emotional responses until they are very apathetic. After cooking, the tainted turducken will revert back to the grey goo state. However in 0.03% of cases consumption results in "hyper-adrenalised cannibalism."
Dick is not happy as the "failures" have made the papers as they've killed locals and holiday makers. More importantly, Dick points out, they've broken his golden rule - there's no such thing as monsters. As punishment he "bibs" Dr. Gaines - literally placing a plastic bib on him, and making him eat himself.
